Overview
LongTail Kit ("we", "us") runs a free long-tail keyword generator. We do not require accounts and we do not collect payment information ourselves. This policy explains what little we do collect, where it lives, and how you can control it.
Data stored on your device
The generator stores a "Pro" flag and a short list of your recent searches in your browser's local storage. This data never leaves your device and is used only to remember your access to the tool.
Usage analytics
We may use self-hosted analytics (such as PostHog) to understand aggregate usage — for example which pages are visited and how the tool is used. Analytics data is aggregated and used to improve the site. No cookie-consent banner is required for this service.
Advertising
We may display advertising served by Google AdSense. Google and its partners may use cookies or similar technologies to serve ads based on your prior visits to this and other websites. You can opt out of personalized advertising at Google Ads Settings (adssettings.google.com) or via www.aboutads.info/choices.
Payments (if you buy Pro)
Payments are processed by Paddle, a merchant of record. When you purchase, Paddle collects your name, email, and billing details to process the transaction and handle taxes. We receive a confirmation of the purchase but do not store your card details.
AI expansion
When you use the optional AI keyword expansion feature, the seed topic you enter is sent to a third-party AI provider to generate suggestions. This happens only when you explicitly use the feature.
Server logs and third parties
Our hosting provider (Vercel) and analytics service may process standard server logs such as IP addresses and request metadata for security and reliability. We do not sell your personal data.
Children
This site is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect data from them.
